It belonged to August Herlof Westra and was kept for many years \nin the wooden travel box on the attic of his house in Bathmen. Lots of \nwork on the puzzle already had been done by distant family members from \nThe Haque. This is also where our family coat of arms comes from. One of\n August Herlofs&#8217; sons Herlof Otto updated the tree in the late 20th \ncentury and framed the paper family tree. It still hangs in his \napartment today in Vancouver, Canada.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/westra.vc5.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/20150219_StamboomWestraHendriks.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/westra.info\/sites\/default\/files\/westra\/westra\/the-holy-oak-tree_family.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Digital tree<\/strong><br>\nThis digital version is again an updated version of the framed paper \nfamily tree from Canada.
